In 2014, Captain and Founder Allison DeWitt began her journey as a new agency owner and carefully chose the name Shoreline Insurance Group to reflect both her roots and her vision for the future.
The inspiration came from three places close to her heart.
The first was practical, her original office was located on Shoreline Drive, where the company first set sail.
The second was a tribute to Minnesota itself. Known for its 10,000+ lakes and endless waterfront beauty, it felt like the perfect foundation for a business centered around connection, guidance and growth, with dreams of eventually expanding to destinations like Florida.
And finally, there’s our love for life on the water. To us, “shoreline” represents a happy place - peaceful, welcoming, and full of possibility.
Since its maiden voyage, Shoreline has operated much like a luxury mega yacht: navigating clients through the often complex waters of health insurance and Medicare with clarity, confidence, and exceptional service.
